Publication of people's welfare statistics is a manifestation of BPS's responsibility as an institution tasked with providing basic statistical data as input for development planning and evaluation. The people's welfare statistics presented in this publication are sourced from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which is a household-based survey.
